*In Loving Memory of a Quintessential Princess Marilyn Ojone Adanike (Nee Okpanachi)*

Born on the 10th of May, Princess Marilyn Ojone Adanike was a devout Christian, renowned for her unwavering faith, infectious cheerfulness, and generosity.

As a member of the esteemed Okpanachi family, she embodied the values of kindness, compassion, hospitality and unity of purpose.

Princess Marilyn was born into the illustrious Okenyi Ruling House of Omachi Iyogbo Royal Dynasty, as the daughter of Late Captain Daniel Omede Okpanachi. Through a matriarchal union with Princess Margaret Aladi Amana, who hails from the revered Idoko Ayegba ruling dynasty of Igala kingdom which advertently solidifies Marilyn’s royal lineage in royal blood.

Marilyn excelled academically, attended Army Children School Jos for her primary education and Tempest Comprehensive Secondary School Jos for her secondary education. She graduated with “Distinction” in Public Administration from the University of Jos. Her business acumen led her to establish spans of business and successfully held sway into the hospitality industry.

Princess Marilyn married Mr. Solomon Ochuko Adanike from Ugheli, Delta State, and their union was blessed with two children:
– Adanike, Ogheneochuko Adejoh Solomon Jr. (male)
– Adanike, Emuobonuvie Eleojo Sapphire (female)

Throughout her life, Marilyn demonstrated remarkable kindness, supporting every member of her family and fostering cohesion within the Okpanachi family. Her selflessness and love have left an indelible mark on those who knew her.

Princess Marilyn Ojone Adanike’s life was a testament to her faith, generosity, and devotion to family course.
