The Igalamela/Odolu Local Government community will bid a final farewell to Princess Marilyn Ojone Adanike tomorrow, Saturday, as her remains are laid to rest at her family compound in Iyogbo.
The late Princess Marilyn, daughter of the revered late Captain Daniel Omede Okpanachi, passed away recently after a brief illness.
A devout Christian, she was celebrated for her unwavering faith, infectious cheerfulness, and generosity.
Princess Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, Mr. Solomon Ochuko Adanike from Ugheli, Delta State, and their two children.
According to her brother, Prince Ademu Yusuf Okpanachi, “Though her time on earth has ended, her legacy of love, kindness, and unity of purpose will continue to inspire generations to come.”
Prince Ademu Okpanachi, a staff member at Federal Polytechnic Idah, reflected on the late Princess’s impact, saying, “History will permanently be fair to Princess Marilyn Ojone Adanike.”
The funeral rites will begin with a wake this Friday evening at the Omachi Iyogbo Palace, followed by the burial on Saturday at the same location.
