The people of Ajaokuta have spoken, and their message is clear: they welcome the establishment of five LNG plants in their community. The Executive Chairman of Ajaokuta Local Government, Hon Haruna Ogido as well as the Ohi of Adogo and Chairman, Ajaokuta Traditional Council have given their seal of approval for the project, and the community has pledged its support to ensure a hitch-free groundbreaking ceremony.
This project is important for Ajaokuta, and its benefits will be felt far and wide. The LNG plants will create jobs, stimulate economic growth, and increase access to clean energy. It’s a commitment to the community’s quest to progress and development. As the representatives of our people , we urge the Management of Ajaokuta Steel Company to cooperate fully with the company establishing the plants.
The Management of Ajaokuta Steel Company must recognize the overwhelming support of the community for this project. Any attempt to hinder or delay the project will be counterproductive and may jeopardize the benefits that the community stands to gain. We implore them to work collaboratively with the company to ensure the project’s success.
