APC Members in Oji-Aji Ward Urged to Unite for Victory in Forthcoming Local Government Election

Barrister Cosmas Ilemona Atabor, former Transition Committee Chairman of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area, has emphasized the need for unity among All Progressives Congress (APC) members in Oji Aji Ward to ensure a resounding victory in the upcoming Local Government election.

Barrister Cosmas Atabor made this call during a meeting with Ward executives, stakeholders, and notable party members, including Hon Ocheidi Halilu (Omor), Local Government Chairman, and Hon Major Enefola, State House of Assembly member representing the Constituency.

Atabor stressed the importance of cordial relationships between party executives and the Assembly member, highlighting the need for unity and harmony to achieve set objectives.

He noted that APC has consistently triumphed in elections in the Ward since its formation and appealed to members to sustain this momentum.

The former Transition Committee Chairman also brokered a truce between the legislator and Ward executives, urging all to prioritize the party’s interest and the development of the Area.

He commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his inspiring leadership qualities and positive impacts on the state.

In his remarks, Hon Major Enefola applauded Barrister Cosmas Atabor for uniting the Ward and pledged to ensure a smooth relationship with executives and stakeholders.

However, Ward Chairman Kingsley Peter Abu and stakeholders, including Hon Ali Yahaya, called on the Lawmaker to improve his working relationship with party members, emphasizing that his mandate was made possible through their efforts.

At the end of the meeting, all issues were resolved and both parties left better positioned to ensure APC continue to be victorious in all coming elections.
