Ahead of the upcoming Local Government election in Kogi State, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Avrugo Ward of Igalamela/Odolu has resolved to put aside internal differences and work towards a resounding victory.
At a crucial meeting convened by former Transition Committee Chairman, Barrister Cosmas Ilemona Atabor, stakeholders and members agreed to unite and ensure the party’s success in the election.
The meeting addressed the internal crisis that had divided the ward, and attendees pledged to support the party’s aspirants, including Hon Martina Ameh for the Councillorship position.
Avrugo Ward Chairman, Festus Alhassan, emphasized the party’s supremacy and readiness for victory, while Barrister Cosmas Atabor urged members to sustain their support and work together for success.
Hon Martina Ameh promised an all-inclusive leadership if elected, and stakeholders expressed appreciation for the unity and cooperation.
