Barrister Cosmas Atabor, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the upcoming Council polls in Kogi State, has vowed to accelerate development in Igalamela/Odolu by leveraging his experience as transition chairman.
Barrister Atabor made this promise during his campaign rally kickoff in Igebije, Ubele Ward, where he expressed admiration for Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s leadership, citing the sound foundation laid by the state leader as inspiration for his own vision.
Atabor’s plan includes mobilizing local government representatives to contribute 5% of their monthly salaries toward addressing basic community needs to complement Government efforts.
He assured voters in Ubele, Akpanya, and Oji-Aji Wards that his tenure would prioritize their interests above all else, affirming APC as the best option in the coming elections.
Notable stakeholders, including House of Assembly member Hon. Major Enefola, James Omachonu Onoja, and Patrick Danjuma Onogu, Chief Eunice Achimugu and Benjamin Amodu endorsed Atabor’s candidacy, urging voters to support him.
The Campaign Council Chairman, Hon. James Omachonu Onoja, emphasized the party’s determination to maintain dominance in the area.
The campaign train continues to gain momentum, with upcoming stops in Ekwuoloko, Avrugo, and Odolu Wards ahead of the October 19, 2024, Local Government elections.
