Hon. Barrister Cosmas Atabor Hosts Muslim Council, Igalamela Youths for Positive Change in his office.

Hon. Barr. Cosmas Atabor, the Executive Chairman of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area, received a warm visit from Igalamela/Odolu Muslim Council.

Led by Chief Imam, Alhaji Buniyamin Harun and the Muslim Council Chairman, Alhaji Sani Ayikoye, the council congratulated the Chairman on his recent victory in the October 19th Kogi state council election.

The spiritual leaders rated high, Hon. Barrister Cosmas’s achievements since venturing into public service, from his tenure in the State Assembly, to his recent position, highlighting the positive impacts on the local government.

The visit was also an opportunity for the Muslim Council, to reaffirm their commitment to supporting community development.

The Council presented Hon. Barrister Atabor with a special gift while calling his attention to basic community needs, specifically grading of road to enhance economic activities, urging him to utilize the Local Government grader for this purpose.

Prayers and words of encouragement were offered by the clergies for the Executive Chairman.

Similarly, Igalamela Youths for Positive Change, Ajaka also paid a courtesy visit to congratulate Hon. Barrister Cosmas Atabor.

The group commended his principled approach to governance and expressed appreciation for the positive impact of his education initiatives over the years, which have benefited the youth demography.

The group also passed vote of confidence in Comrade Alih Nasir, for his reliable efforts in liaising between the Chairman and the Youth in the area.

The group pledged their total support and requested Hon. Barr. Atabor to consider their interests in future interventions, pledging their dedication to the development of the community under his leadership.

Responding, the Executive Chairman Barrister Atabor thanked the delegation for their encouragements and requested continued spiritual support in promoting peaceful relations among all in the society.
