Barrister Cosmas Ilemona Atabor, former Transition Committee Chairman of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area, has been honored with the Best Performed Chairman award from Kogi East Senatorial district.
The award, presented by “Advocacy for Youth Leadership in Governance, Nigeria,” today in Lokoja,recognizes his outstanding performance among his contemporaries during his tenure.
Comrade Abiodun Ajinomoh, convener of the program, emphasized the organization’s mission to promote excellence in governance and acknowledge deserving individuals to encourage their continued dedication.
Barrister Atabor while reacting to the recognition, dedicated the award to the people of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area, expressing gratitude for their support and cooperation.
As an aspirant for the forthcoming local government polls under the All Progressives Congress (APC), he pledged to leverage his experiences to enhance infrastructure and basic amenities in the local government.
Atabor urged APC members to mobilize for an overwhelming victory in the Chairmanship and Councillorship election scheduled for October 19th, 2024.
He commended the program convener for promoting a culture of hard work, dedication, and commitment to duties through the merit award.
