Bauchi State Governor, Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has welcomed the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji (Dr) Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, to the Government House as part of the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
The Governor expressed his gratitude for the Emir’s visit, highlighting the significance of the traditional institution’s support and honor.
Governor Mohammed emphasized his administration’s commitment to positive change, protection of lives and property, and creation of an environment conducive to lawful activities.
He cited initiatives since 2019 that have improved the lives of Bauchi State citizens, acknowledging the need for prudent resource management and cooperation from traditional rulers.
The Governor also addressed security challenges in border communities, particularly in Bula District, urging traditional rulers to promote vigilance and peaceful coexistence among their people.
He appealed for support in maintaining law and order, ensuring mutual respect, and imbibing the spirit of forgiveness and tolerance.
Governor Mohammed wished the Emir and all Muslims a happy Eid-el-Fitr celebration, praying for a hitch-free occasion and continued guidance and protection from Allah.
