The burial program for the doyen of Nigeria’s broadcast industry, Dr. Tom Adaba, has been released by the family.
According to the burial program signed by the family of the deceased, activities for his final journey begin on Thursday, March 6, 2025, with a Christian wake/night of tribute at 4:30 p.m. at the Catholic Church of the Archangels, Durumi, Gaduwa Road, Abuja.
The lying-in-state will hold on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at 45 Constitution Avenue, off Democracy Crescent, Gaduwa Estate, Abuja.
Similarly, a funeral mass will be held at the same church on Friday, as well as at Christ The King Catholic Church, Okene, at 10:00 a.m.
The body of the late veteran broadcaster and administrator will be interred immediately after mass at the Gudu Cemetery, Christian section, opposite Defence HMO, Apo, Abuja.
The late Dr. Tom Adaba was the first Director-General of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) and also the first Principal of NTA Television College, Jos.
Dr. Tom Adaba, an icon of the broadcast industry, passed away at the age of 83.
