Today, we joyfully celebrate a remarkable milestone – the 70th birthday of our esteemed friend and colleague, Comrade (Sir) Sam Egwu. As a veteran labor leader in Kogi State, Comrade Sam Egwu has dedicated his life to championing workers’ rights and welfare.

His distinguished career as a senior civil servant and his various roles in the Agriculture and Allied Workers Union have been marked by commitment, passion, and selflessness. Even in retirement, Comrade Sam Egwu remains actively engaged in community service, promoting peace and development in Idah, Idah Local Government Area.

As a devout Catholic and a Knight of St. Mule (KSM), Comrade Sam Egwu’s faith has been a guiding force in his life, inspiring him to serve others with compassion and kindness. His warm and affable personality has endeared him to many, making him a cherished figure in our community.
