The Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe, extended warm Christmas greetings to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and entire Christian families across the state.
The Commissioner emphasized that Christmas, which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ, is a time for peace, love, forgiveness, and resilience, urging everyone to abide by the spiritual teachings of Jesus Christ to celebrate with kindness and compassion, regardless of their religious beliefs.
Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe further emphasized the importance of spiritual reflection during and after Christmas, urging Christians to pray for the nation and Kogi State in general.
The Commissioner also highlighted the need to seek God’s guidance, wisdom, and direction for leaders, ensuring they lead the people alright.
Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe praised Christians in the state for their unwavering support and cooperation with Governor Ododo’s administration.
He encouraged them to sustain this relationship, which has brought lasting peace and democratic benefits to the state.
According to Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is committed to improving citizens’ well-being and transforming the state’s narratives through inclusive and transformative leadership, especially for the youth in the state.
