Commissioner Anyebe Calls for Unity Among Kogi Youths Ministry Appointees

Political appointees under the Ministry of Youths and Sports Development have been urged to work harmoniously for the overall development of the Ministry.

The Commissioner, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe made the appeal at a stakeholders meeting of all political appointees under the Ministry in his office in Lokoja.

Hon Anyebe noted that for the policies and programmes of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to be effective, there was need for all to work as a team.

According to him, programmes have been arranged and all political appointees mandated to go to the grassroots to embark on activities that would be impactful to the people they represent.

While commending the Governor for his people -oriented programmes, the Commissioner called on members to be committed, focused as well as ensure that the Youths are always carried along.

The Special Adviser on Youths and Student Matters, Hon. Nihi Oladele commended the Governor for the appointment of Youths into various offices.

The Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Mobilization, Hon .Ali Keller Abdulkadir said they were in the office of the Commissioner to fashion out ways to galvanize support for Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo as he prepares to celebrate his one year in office.

Speaking on behalf of the committee members, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Empowerment, Hon Mubarak Ibrahim Umar promise to execute the programmes in line with the mandate given, commending the Commissioner for doing credibly well.

The political appointees were divided into Various committees representing the West , East and Central respectively.
