Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon Monday A Ayebe was pleased to receive a delegation of students from Olamaboro Local Government Area, led by Comrade Shaibu Sunday, National President of the Olamaboro Local Government Students Association, in his office in Lokoja.
The students expressed their support for the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, citing his efforts in promoting youth policies and programs in Kogi State. I was delighted to hear their commendations and assured them of my commitment to youth development and empowerment.
As Commissioner, I am passionate about creating opportunities for young people to thrive. I believe that the youth are the future of our state, and it is our responsibility to provide them with the necessary tools and support to succeed.
I praised the Governor’s initiatives, particularly in youth empowerment and sporting activities, and assured the students that we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that their needs are met.
Hon Ayebe also appreciated the students’ pledge of loyalty and support for the Governor’s administration and promised to look into their various requests.
He assured them that the Government of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo will carry them along in the scheme of things and involve them in decision-making processes that affect their lives.
The Commissioner expressed committed to working with the students and youth organizations to ensure the state achieved the goals of youth development and empowerment, adding that he was proud to be part of an administration that prioritizes the welfare and progress of young people.
