Nigerians have again been urged to continue to have faith in the country despite the dunting economic challenges that has bedeviled the Nation.
The Nasarawa State Chairman of the People’s Democratic party, PDP, Hon. Francis Orogu made the appeal in his
Easter message to Christians and other Nigerians as they commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
He called on Nigerians to remain focused, committed and steadfast in line with the virtues of Christ who sacrifice himself for the sake of mankind.
He noted that the country is certainly going through it’s worst moments which calls for sacrifice from all and charged those in leadership position to strife towards the provision of dividend of Democracy to the electorates.
He further challenged those in authority to prioritize the welfare and wellbeing of its citizens, pointing out that they should stop paying lips service to the plight of the citizenry.
The PDP State Chairman adviced Nigerians irrespective of their social standing, religion and political interest to live a sacrificial lives by emulating the life of Jesus Christ.
To PDP members, Mr Orogu urged them to be weary of fifth columnists in the party.
He promised that the successes made in 2023 by the party in the state will continue to remain their focal point and direction ahead for 2027, adding that what the nation needed at this trying moment is dedication, sincerity of purpose and unity.
