Eid al-Adha: Hon. (Barr.) Cosmas Atabor Celebrates With Muslim Ummah, Urges Love, Compassion, and Unity

The Executive Chairman of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Council, Hon. (Barr.) Cosmas Ilemona Atabor extends his warmest greetings to Muslims across the globe as they mark the celebration of Eid al-Adha.

Hon. Atabor also extends warm Sallah greetings to the Chief Servant of Kogi State, His Excellency, the Governor, His Deputy, the Speaker and members of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Members of the State Executive Council, and other top government functionaries, praying for God’s continued protection and guidance during and after the celebration.

The Chairman in his goodwill message, highlights the deep spiritual significance of the festival, which commemorates sacrifice, obedience, and active faith.

He encourages the Muslim faithful to reflect these values through acts of charity, compassion, and selfless service, especially towards the less privileged in society.

Hon. Atabor noted that such demonstrations of love and kindness are not only in line with the teachings of the festival but also crucial to building a more inclusive, supportive, and harmonious society.

The Chairman further urged religious leaders to remain steadfast in their prayers for those in positions of leadership and to continue promoting the ideals of peace, unity, and mutual understanding among the people.

He expressed his heartfelt prayers for divine blessings, renewed hope, and lasting peace for all during this sacred celebration.
