In the spirit of Eid el-Fitri celebrations, Rt Hon Sanni Abdulraheem, Member of the House of Representatives for Ajaokuta, toured his constituency to mark the Sallah festivity.
All monarchs welcomed the lawmaker in their various domains, with the Traditional Council Chairman, HRH Isah Achuja, expressing gratitude for Hon Sanni significant contributions to uplifting the traditional institution.
HRH Isah Achuja also commended the lawmaker for his performance in other areas of importance.
In a related event organized by Hon Aliyu Ogido Haruna, the Executive Chairman of Ajaokuta LGA, various stakeholders convened for Sallah Celebration, where Rt Hon Sani was in attendance.
Constituents and stakeholders who spoke lauded the lawmaker for his remarkable achievements.
Speakers emphasized his strong opposition to a proposed bill that would have included Ajaokuta in the new proposed Okura State.
They recognized his efforts that led to the change in the bill, noting how he defended the territory, demographics, and heritage of the people by ensuring Ajaokuta remains a part of the Central Senatorial District of Kogi State.
In his address, Rt Hon Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem congratulated the community on the Eid el-Fitri and pledged to continue working for the benefit of the people.
He acknowledged that the ultra-modern hospital built in Badoko is lacking certain essential equipment, which he has already procured.
The Ajaokuta federal Lawmaker assured constituents that the Hospital would be fully equipped in the coming week to commence operations.
