He urged them to use the period to reach out to one another, especially the less privileged, noting that it is a season to show love for bountiful rewards from Allah.

The commissioner appealed to the Muslims to continue to live harmoniously and peacefully with one another irrespective of tribe, religion or political differences.

He enjoined them to also use the occasion to pray for Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole, noting that the place of prayer cannot be under estimated.

He prayed to Allah to reward the Muslims for their sacrifices and self-discipline during the Holy month of Ramadan.

“You have sacrificed your time, denied yourselves of foods, and sanctified yourselves within the last 29 to 30 days as commanded by Allah. That’s a lot of commitment and self-discipline. It’s my earnest prayer that Allah rewards you all greatly.” He prayed.
