The Bauchi State Government House Press Crew gathered at the R&K Guest Palace Hotel in Kano for a two-day retreat, themed “Enhancing Effective and Efficient Coverage of Government Activities for Sustainable Growth and Development.”
The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Comrade Muktar Gidado welcomed the gathering, expressing gratitude to Almighty Allah and appreciation to Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for his visionary leadership.
The retreat aimed to sharpen the skills of media professionals in the state, renewing their commitment to ethical journalism and reflecting on how to serve as worthy ambassadors of the Government House.

As members of the fourth estate of the realm, the press crew occupies a unique and vital place in the communication ecosystem of the state. Through their lenses, microphones, pens, and keyboards, citizens gain insight into the workings of government and policy decisions.
The Special Adviser reflected on the remarkable achievements of Governor Bala Mohammed, highlighting transformational revolutions in infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, and people-centered governance.
Under his leadership, Bauchi State has witnessed significant investments in road construction, school renovation, teacher recruitment, and healthcare delivery.
