Ex-Nigerian Envoy to Germany, Ambassador Regina Ocheni, Honoured for Community Service

Nigeria’s former Deputy Head of Mission to Germany, Her Excellency Ambassador Regina I. Ocheni (PhD), will be conferred with a prestigious award of honor on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at Iyogbo in Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area.

The award, to be conferred by the Board of Igalamela Youth Renaissance Ajaka (IYRA), recognizes Ambassador Ocheni’s humanitarian efforts, including touching lives and providing sustainable jobs to many in her community and beyond.

A statement by IYRA outgoing President Alih Nasir Adamu stated that the ceremony will also feature the inauguration of new executive members of IYRA.

According to the organization, Ambassador Ocheni served the Federal Republic of Nigeria with diligence and patriotism during her tenure.

IYRA, which aims to promote unity, peace, and prosperity in Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area and the state, expressed delight in acknowledging and celebrating her positive contributions.

This award further confirms Ambassador Ocheni’s consistent support for vulnerable persons in society.

It’s worth noting that Ambassador Regina Ocheni indeed served as the Deputy Head of Mission at the Nigerian Embassy in Berlin, Germany.
