The management of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has conferred a Meritorious Award on Rt. Hon. David Idris Zacharias, the member representing Idah Federal Constituency and Chairman of the House Committee on Safety Standards and Regulations.
The award was presented during the institution’s 9th Convocation Ceremony, in recognition of his contributions to public service, legislative excellence, and commitment to community development.
Hon. Zacharias, was represented by his Senior Legislative Aide, Mr. Momoh Rilwanu.
While receiving the award on behalf of his principal, Mr. Momoh conveyed Hon. Zacharias’ gratitude to the university’s management for the honor.
He described the award as a call to greater service, reaffirming the legislator’s dedication to the welfare and progress of the Idah Federal Constituency.
The 9th Convocation Ceremony of FUOYE brought together dignitaries, academia, government officials, and other stakeholders to celebrate excellence in education and leadership.
