Former Lawmaker Hails Barrister Atabor as “Perfect Fit” for Igalamela/ Odolu Chairmanship

Hon. Friday Makama Sani, a former member of the Kogi State House of Assembly, has endorsed Barrister Cosmas Atabor as one of the best among his peers from Kogi East senatorial district in the upcoming Local Government polls next Saturday in Kogi State.

While presenting the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate to Onu Odolu, Achema Achadu Odolu, and party stakeholders in Odolu Ward, Makama emphasized Barrister Atabor’s exceptional qualifications.

“With his legislative experience in the Kogi House of Assembly and professional background as a lawyer, Hon. Barrister Cosmas Atabor is the perfect fit for this esteemed office in Igalamela/Odolu,” Makama stated.

Traditional rulers, including Onu Odolu as well as the Achema Achadu Odolu, praised Barrister Atabor’s tenure as Transition Chairman.

They highlighted his unmatched performance in security during his brief but remarkable tenure as transition Chairman, describing him as humble, compassionate, and civil. They prayed for his success alongside his team.

Barrister Atabor in his remark at the Palaces of the two traditional rulers said he will give priority to education, healthcare, agriculture, women’s empowerment, and youth development.

He commended traditional rulers for maintaining peace and urged continued support.

Campaign Council Chairman Hon. James Kross Onoja assured supporters of Barrister Atabor’s preparedness and sought their backing for the election.

The campaign resumes tomorrow (Sunday) with visits to Oforachi Ward One and Two, followed by Ajaka Ward One and Two on Monday.

Meanwhile, the Director General Campaign Council Hon. Eunice Achimugu says the grand finale is scheduled for October 17, 2024, at LGEA Primary School Ajaka, with APC chieftains from within and outside the Local Government in attendance.
