Ganaja Community Hails Federal Lawmaker For Pushing Government Secondary School Establishment

Comrade Ali Atabor, a resident of Ganaja Community in Ajaokuta Local Government Area, has praised Rt. Hon. Abdulraheem Sani Egidi, the member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, for initiating a request for a government secondary school in the community.

Rt Hon Abdulraheem Sani Egidi led a delegation to the Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Mr. Wemi Jones, to make the request on behalf of the community.

Comrade Ali Atabor described the gesture as a welcome development, citing the community’s overdue need for a Government Secondary school due to its increasing population.

He highlighted the exploitation of residents by private school proprietors through exorbitant fees without providing commensurate quality education.

Comrade Ali Atabor who is also the Editor-in-Chief of OMANEWS, an online media platform, asserted that Egidi’s intervention would bring relief to parents in the community by providing access to affordable and quality education.

He described Rt Hon Abdulraheem Sani Egidi as the best federal lawmaker to have represented Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, prioritizing the welfare and needs of his constituents.

Comrade Atabor appealed to the Federal Lawmaker to pressure the state government to actualize the establishment of the school and pledged community support.

He commended Sani Egidi for addressing other critical sectors, including infrastructure, youth and women empowerment, and pledged support for his continued efforts.

Atabor called on stakeholders, associations, groups, and well-meaning individuals in Ganaja community to rally around Rt Hon Abdulraheem Sani Egidi to make the establishment of the first-ever government secondary school in Ganaja Community a reality.
