Members of the Kogi State Handball Association have been charged to be committed and so more effort towards uplifting the game and making Kogi State proud in all competitions.
The Newly appointed Kogi State Chairman of the Association, Alhaji Jibrin Seidu Oji gave the charge shortly after the inauguration of the members at the confluence stadium in Lokoja.
Alhaji Jibrin Seidu Oji called on the members to support him to move the Handball Association to a higher heights.
The Handball Association Chairman said he will remodel Handball sporting activities in the state towards the progress and development of the game in the state.
He said he has been doing it before, assuring that he will continue to do more by promoting the Handball game in the state and Nigeria in general.
Alhaji Jibrin commended the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development Hon. Monday Anyebe for his passion and commitment to the upliftment of Handball and other sporting games in the state.
The State Handball chairman thanked the Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for the opportunity given him and members to serve and promised to sustain the spirit.
He also expressed appreciation to the state Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Monday Anyebe for his fatherly roles towards the success of the inaguration and assured the Commissioner of his collaboration at all times.
Other members appointed for Kogi State Handball Association are
Aminudeen Atabo Vice Chairman, Ahmodu Dangana Okolo second Vice-chairman, Omada Ene-ojo Technical Director, Barrister Sanmi Desmond Olumoko Legal Adviser, while Abdullahi Fatima is to serve as Member.
The rest are James Sani Media officer One, Alhaji Ali Atabo Media officer two, with Makun Segun and
Aishatu Momoh as members and Mary Idakwo as State Coach.
