Muslims in Kogi State have been called upon to continue to pray for unity and stability of the State.
The State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe made the call in a message while presenting Ramadan gift to Muslims in the Ministry in Lokoja.
Represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Jibo Muhammad Haruna, the Commissioner said the gesture was aimed at identifying with the Muslims during the Ramadan period.
He enjoined them to rededicate themselves to service of God and humanity.
According to the Commissioner, the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has total passion for the welfare of the citizens in the state and appealed to them to continue to support the governor to succeed.
While urging Staff of the Ministry to continue to unite as one family for the progress and development of the Ministry, the Commissioner commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his quality Leadership style.
Speaking on behalf of Staff and Management, the Director Administration of the Ministry, Mallam Ibraheems Yahaya appreciated the Commissioner for the timely gesture.
Mallam Yahaya while noting that the gift will go a long way at reducing the hardship been faced currently, expressed appreciation to the Commissioner for the gesture.
