The Executive Chairman of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area, Hon. (Barr.) Cosmas Ilemona Atabor has extended financial support to students from various tertiary institutions through his CIA Education Foundation.
This gesture, aimed at students from diverse disciplines within the Local Government Area, emphasizes his devotion to education and youth empowerment.
While addressing the beneficiaries, Hon. (Barr.) Atabor emphasized that this annual initiative is designed to ease the financial challenges faced by underprivileged students and inspire the youth to place preference on education.
He highlighted the foundation’s successes over the years and reaffirmed his dedication to promoting positive character development and building a stronger community.
Adding to the Chairman’s remarks, Hon. Nasir Alih praised Barrister Atabor’s consistent efforts, including the free distribution of JAMB forms and the prompt payment of school fees.
The cash support from the Barrister Atabor’s Foundation was immediately disbursed to the beneficiaries by Hon. Major Enefola, the House of Assembly Member representing the Local Government Area.
In his remarks, Hon. Enefola Major commended the Chairman for placing importance on education and pledged to partner further with him to expand the scope of operations of the CIA Foundation.
Major Enefola urged the beneficiaries to utilize the funds responsibly and contribute to building a more united and progressive community.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mr. Enejo Ogwuche, an MSc student at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, and Miss Nafisat Salifu of the Federal Polytechnic Idah, expressed gratitude to Hon. Atabor’s CIA Foundation for the timely support.
They prayed for continued blessings upon his endeavours and pledged their support for his vision of a better and more unified community.
