Hon. (Barr.) Cosmas Atabor, the Executive Chairman of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Council, honoured an invitation from the United Evangelical Church (UEC) Ajaka Headquarters for its annual Harvest Thanksgiving celebration.
The event, a cherished tradition of the Church, involves presenting farm produce to God as an expression of gratitude for His divine provisions and preservation throughout the year.
Hon. (Barr.) Cosmas Atabor, who was represented by his Senior Special Adviser on Community Reorientation and Social Integration , urged Christians to remain thankful to God for His faithfulness.
He also encouraged believers to practice generosity toward others, reflecting the values of love and kindness.
Hon. (Barr) Atabor extended profound appreciation to the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Elder Joel Oyibo, for his steadfast support and sacrifices of love towards the Church.
He also acknowledged the contributions of notable political and academic leaders, including Prof. Stephen Ocheni, Prof. Usman Ogbo, Hon. Major Enefola, and Hon. Eunice Treasure Achimugwu among others whose financial support significantly impacted the celebration.
The Chairman appealed to the Church to continue praying for Nigeria, Kogi State, and the prosperity of Igalamela/Odolu
Local Government Area.
He made a substantial contribution and pledged continuous support for the Church’s future programmes.
