The Executive Chairman of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area, Hon. (Barr.) Cosmas Ilemona Atabor, on behalf of the entire Council, extends heartfelt felicitations to the immediate past Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, on the occasion of his 50th birthday.
Hon. Atabor described Governor Bello as a courageous, democratic, and visionary leader whose inclusive governance model propelled Kogi State to remarkable heights.
He commended the former governor for his outstanding achievements in both human capital and infrastructural development, which have left an enduring legacy.
Highlighting the former governor’s fearless stance against insecurity, Hon. Atabor urged all well-meaning Nigerians, especially Kogites, to celebrate GYB for restoring peace and security across the state.
He also applauded his strategic efforts in safeguarding lives and livelihoods during the COVID-19 pandemic, which allowed economic activities to thrive even in the face of national challenges.
Hon. Atabor emphasized that Alhaji Yahaya Bello remains a transformational leader who has not only served Kogi State with distinction but also nurtured a new generation of leaders committed to advancing his development vision.
The Chairman assured him of the Council’s support and prayed for God’s continued guidance and greater accomplishments in his political journey
