IGALAMELA/ODOLU COUNCIL HOSTS 2025 NMIS TEAM, NPC STAFF, AND UGBATUGBA YOUTHS

The Executive Chairman of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area, Hon. (Barr.) Cosmas Ilemona Atabor, has welcomed the 2025 Nigeria Malaria Indicator Survey (NMIS) team to his office.

The visit aimed to conduct an inspection tour and was carried out in collaboration with staff from the National Population Commission (NPC).

Hon.( Barr)Atabor emphasized the importance of professionalism and diligence in the execution of the NMIS team’s task, urging them to remain committed to achieving the objectives outlined in the National Malaria Elimination Programme (NMEP).

He also requested NPC staff to provide necessary technical assistance to ensure the success of the exercise.

In a separate meeting, the Executive Chairman encouraged the Ugbatugba Community Youths to remain law-abiding, maintain faith in the government, and shun social vices.

He stressed the importance of respecting constituted authorities and collective responsibility in achieving the Council’s developmental goals.

The NMIS team lead, Hon. Nasir Ohiani, expressed gratitude for the warm reception and assured the Chairman of a transparent survey process.

The youth leader, Mr. Udale Damodu on his part appreciated the Chairman’s inclusive leadership style and pledged continued support for the APC.
