Hon. (Barr.) Cosmas Ilemona Atabor, the Executive Chairman of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Muslim community and the family of the late Islamic Scholar in Ajaka, Sheikh Abubakar Ameh (Ofodogwu).
The Chairman, during a visit, expressed his profound sympathy to the bereaved family, offering prayers for strength and comfort in this challenging time.
He described the late Sheikh Abubakar Ameh (Ofodogwu) as a highly respected Islamic Scholar and a prominent figure whose absence would be deeply felt.
Hon. (Barr.) Atabor, who prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the deceased, called on the family to sustain the enduring legacies of their departed father.
Hon. Abdullahi Ameh (Senegal), a son of the deceased and also a Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, commended Hon. (Barr.) Atabor for standing with the family since the passing of their father.
He lauded the Chairman as a distinguished leader and a true advocate for grassroots development whose leadership legacy will remain indelible.
The Chairman was accompanied on the condolence visit by the former Administrator of the Local Government, Comrade Alih Atabor, Chief of Staff Hon. Zekeri Adama, the Technical Adviser Hon. Alih Nasir, Local Government APC Party Chairman Hon. Halilu Omor, and other personalities.
