Kogi Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Abanika Taiye Hosts Ajaokuta Constituents to Ramadan Iftar in Lokoja

The Kogi State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Abanika Taiye, hosted constituents from Ajaokuta Local Government Area to a special Ramadan Iftar at his official residence in Lokoja.

The gathering was a beautiful expression of unity, faith, and communal solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan.

The event provided an opportunity for the attendees to come together in prayer for His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, as well as for the peace, progress, and prosperity of the state.

The constituents praised Hon. Abanika for being a worthy ambassador of Ajaokuta Local Government, lauding his dedication to the service of both his people and the state.

They also offered prayers for the member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Hon. Sanni Abdulraheem Egidi, wishing him wisdom and strength in his leadership.

In his remarks, Hon. Abanika Taiye emphasized the importance of continuous prayers for Governor Ododo and called for unwavering support and cooperation with the current administration.

The Commissioner urged Muslims to use the period of Ramadan to give generously in charity, deepen their reflections on the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and strengthen bonds of brotherhood and peace.
