Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has urged his Senior Special Assistants to demonstrate ingenuity in showcasing the current administration’s initiatives at the grassroots level.
Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo made this call during a meeting with the executive members of the State forum of Senior Special Assistants at his office in Lokoja, represented by Deputy Governor Comrade Joel Salifu.
Governor Ododo emphasized the importance of making the offices of Senior Special Assistants both lucrative and productive, noting that effectiveness lies in innovative capacity.
He encouraged the appointees to unite as a strong team dedicated to realizing the vision of development for the grassroots community, a cornerstone of the present Administration.
The Governor acknowledged the honor bestowed on him as the Patron, along with the immediate past Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello as Grandpatron of the Association.
The Chairman of the forum, Hon. Yahaya Shehu Ahmed, informed the Deputy Governor about the upcoming victory celebration and conferred the title of distinguished Patron upon Governor Ododo and grand patron upon Former Governor Yahaya Bello.
The Secretary of the forum, Shaibu Ipinmise, and Senior Special Assistant Hon. Shaikh Sani Musa appealed to the state government for increased support and resources to effectively carry out their duties.
