The Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ ,Kogi State Chapter has reiterated its unwavering support to the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
This was made known when the NUJ Press Week Committee led by the immediate past chairman of the Union, Alhaji Adeiza Momoh-Jimoh paid a courtesy visit to the State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo in his office in Lokoja.
Hon. Fanwo assured the Union of Governor Ododo’s unwavering commitment towards ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in their activities and commended His Excellency, President Bola Tinubu for the Local Government Autonomy, noting that it’s a welcome development as politics starts from the Grassroots.
He urged the Union to give the necessary support in discharging their official duties in the forthcoming Local Government Elections in the state, promising that the election would be free, fair and credible.
The immediate past chairman of Kogi State NUJ, Alhaji Momoh-jimoh Adeiza commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his efforts in transforming the state through his landmark projects.
Alhaji Adeiza Momohjimoh assured of the Union’s unwavering support in the discharge of their duties as professionals.
