The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State is mourning the loss of its Kogi East Zonal Chairman, Alhaji Mikhail Suleman Mohammed, who passed away on Friday at the age of 45.
Professor Stephen Ikani Ocheni, a former Minister and APC leader in Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area, paid tribute to the deceased, describing him as an astute political leader who fostered excellent relationships within the party.
He extended condolences to the immediate family, Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and the entire APC family in Kogi State.
The Former Minister said the late Kogi East Zonal Chairman will be remembered for his unifying influence within the party.
Professor Ocheni urged the community to find solace in the memories of Alhaji Mohammed’s remarkable life and the positive impact he had on those around him.
The APC family in Kogi State stands in solidarity with the bereaved family, offering words of comfort and support during this difficult time.
Professor Ocheni prayed for Allah to grant the deceased’s family the strength to bear this irreparable loss and for Alhaji Mikhail’s soul to rest in eternal peace.
Alhaji Suleman Mohammed was laid to rest in his hometown of Odu, Dekina Local Government Area, according to Islamic rites.
