The Kogi State APC Youth Council has announced its decision to honor Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah with the prestigious award of APC Emerging Leader, 2024. This recognition highlights Hon. Ogah’s steadfast commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and his exemplary leadership within the Idah Federal Constituency, which encompasses Idah, Ibaji, Igalamela, and Ofu Local Government Areas.
The award, initially scheduled for presentation on December 31, 2024, has been postponed due to Hon. Ogah’s demanding schedule. The adjustment was decided during a meeting of the National Executive Council (NEC) of the APC Youth Council, held in Lokoja, with Mr. Christopher Sunday, the Chief Personal Secretary (CPS) to Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah, in attendance.
In his remarks, the Kogi State APC Youth Leader, Hon. Muhammad U. Muhammad, emphasized that the award reflects the collective appreciation of the youth for Hon. Ogah’s dedication to the party and his efforts in fostering grassroots development and political stability in the state.
Other dignitaries present at the meeting included Hon. Nasara Ola, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Water Resources; Hon. Idris Aloma, SSA to the Governor on Grassroots Development; and Hon. Suleiman Isah, Legislative Special Assistant (LSA) to the Governor.
Speaking on behalf of Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah, Mr. Christopher Sunday expressed gratitude to the APC Youth Council for the recognition. He reiterated Hon. Ogah’s commitment to the party’s ideals and his resolve to continue championing the cause of the APC while working to ensure the overall development of the Idah Federal Constituency and Kogi State at large.
The new date for the award ceremony is expected to be announced soon, with anticipation of a grand celebration of Hon. Ogah’s achievements and contributions. The APC Youth Council reaffirmed its commitment to promoting excellence and celebrating leaders who inspire positive change in society.
