New Zonal Security Adviser Hon Onoja Pays Familiarization Visit to Heads of Security Agencies

Hon. James Omachonu Onoja, the newly appointed Zonal Security Adviser to the Kogi State Governor, today Wednesday embarked on a familiarization tour to strengthen ties with security agencies in the Idah Federal Constituency.

His first stop was the office of Area Commander Idah ACP Dilli Theman Mbaga, where he emphasized the need for cooperation and synergy to ensure the safety of law-abiding citizens.

Hon Onoja highlighted that the present administration has zero tolerance for insecurity and has prioritized security to guarantee lives and property.

He praised the efforts of the previous administration under Alhaji Yahaya Bello and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s commitment to security.

The Zonal Security Adviser aims to mobilize Local Government Area Chairmen to develop a common template to address security issues.

ACP Mbaga welcomed the visit, acknowledging operational challenges and expressing readiness to cooperate with the Zonal Security Adviser.

The Idah Area Command, consisting of Idah, Ibaji, Igalamela/Odolu, and Ofu, is relatively peaceful, with few areas requiring attention, ACP Mbaga said.

Onoja also met with the Chairmen of Igalamela/Odolu and Ibaji to discuss security issues, demonstrating his commitment to maintaining peace and order in Idah Federal Constituency.

The maiden visit also took the Zonal Security Adviser to the Navy Outpost in Idah and was received by the Commander N Oyagha.
