The National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Igalamela/Odolu chapter, has officially endorsed Hon. Barrister Cosmas Atabor, the APC Chairmanship candidate, for the upcoming council election on October 19th.
This decision was made after the Union’s Congress, led by Comr. Tahirudeen Abdullahi, resolved to support Atabor due to his impressive administrative experience and track record.
Barrister Atabor’s experience in the state Assembly and as Transition Chairman of the local government area has earned him recognition as a capable leader.
The Union praised the state government, under Governor Usman Ododo, for promptly paying staff salaries and improving welfare.
The Deputy chairman, Comr. Aminu Sani, expressed gratitude for the new minimum wage approval and promised that staffers would reciprocate by voting for APC candidates .
The Auditor of the Union Abdulshakur Musa Ejigebe, thanked Barrister Atabor for recognizing the Union during his transition period and described him as a “divine blessing” to the local government.
Barrister Atabor in his remark thanked members of the Union for their cooperation and support, emphasizing the importance of civil servants in society.
He assured the Union that Governor Ododo is committed to leadership and will surpass expectations, as evident in the approval of the #72,500 minimum wage.
The APC Chairmanship Candidate assured the NULGE executive that he would give priority to welfare of workers, and Urged them to mobilize their members for the victory of all APC candidates in the coming Saturday’s Council polls.
