Ododo Vows to Ensure Safety of FU Lokoja Students

Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has urged students of Federal University Lokoja to remain law-abiding citizens following a recent tragic incident at the institution.

The governor assured that his administration will prioritize the welfare and safety of youths and students in the state.

Governor Ododo, represented by Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon Aridaojo Monday Anyebe, pledged to implement measures to prevent similar accidents, particularly on Felele Road.

He expressed gratitude to the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Zone C for their condolences and assured his commitment to the students’ and youths’ well-being.

Daniel Friday Egga, Coordinator of NANS Zone C, extended condolences to the state government and people of Kogi State, describing the incident as a great loss.

Daniel Egga appealed to the state government to conduct a thorough investigation and take necessary measures to prevent future occurrences.
