Onu Itobe Urges Kogi State to Engage Doctor Nuhu Anyegwu

Comrade (Dr) Nuhu Solomon Anyegwu, the immediate past Provost of College of Health Sciences and Technology, Idah, recently paid a New Year visit to the Onu Itobe, HRH, Chief Salifu Adaji.

Doctor Nuhu Solomon Anyegwu was accompanied on the trip by two young academics from Federal Polytechnic, Idah.

The Onu Itobe praised Doctor Anyegwu’s exceptional leadership, highlighting the remarkable achievements during his 8-year tenure as Provost.

Doctor Anyegwu’s impressive track record includes being a registered Environmental Health Officer, a Licensed Environmental Health Officer, and holding various leadership positions, such as State President and National Vice President of the Environmental Health Officers Association of Nigeria.

The Onu Itobe expressed his desire for the Kogi State Government, led by Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, to engage Anyegwu quickly, leveraging his expertise in the Environmental Health Sector for the state’s development.

Chief Salihu Adaji maintained that this would also prevent the World Health Organisation, WHO, from recruiting him.

Doctor Anyegwu expressed gratitude to the traditional ruler for the kind words on his person, assuring that he would not rest on his oars if given any opportunity to serve the state.

The former Provost applauded Chief Salihu Adaji for maintaining peace and prioritizing security in his domain.

He wished the Onu Itobe and his subjects greater success and favor of God in the new year.

Doctor Anyegwu’s credentials are impressive, with a background in Environmental Health, Health Education, and Personnel Management, as well as various awards and recognition for his contributions to education and healthcare.
