A former Minister ,Prof Stephen Ocheni has expressed sadness over the sudden death of Alhaji Mohammed Ibrahim Idris ,son of former Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ibrahim Idris in Abuja Shortly after the eid el fitr prayers at Abuja today
.
Prof.Stephen Ocheni in a condolence message ,described the news of the death of Rt Hon Mohammad Ibrahim Idris who was a former member of the House of Representatives representing Ankpa/Omala/Olamaboro federal constituency as a rude shock to the people of kogi state and Igalaland.
The former Minister who was among the early callers on condolence at the residence of the former Governor, said he received the news with rude shock.
Prof.Stephen Ocheni said it is
a sober moment for the immediate family and the people of Ankpa/Omala federal constituency that Rt Hon Mohammed Ibrahim Idris passed on at a time that his wise counsel and guidance was most needed by his people.
“I’m Saddened with the shocking news of the demise of this gentle, industrious, hardworking and enterprising young chap. This is a dark moment for the community and the entire state,where he played his part to its advancement and growth.
He urged the immediate family and the former Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris to see his son’s death as an act of God, urging him to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
The former Minister also prayed to God to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest,.noting that death was a necessary end for all mortal.
