The United Evangelical Church will bid farewell to Reverend John Ugah, Chairman of Idah Area Conference, as he retires from active service on Sunday, August 25, 2024.
A retirement service will be held at the auditorium of the United Evangelical Headquarters Church in Idah, Kogi State, starting at 9:00 o’clock in the morning.
According to Doctor Gabriel Alhassan Ottah, Chairman of the Publicity and Contact Committee, the event will feature notable dignitaries, including:
– Special Guest of Honour: Elder Joel Salifu, Deputy Governor of Kogi State
– Chairman of John Ugah Retirement Foundation: Dr. Victor Alewo Adoji, Global Ambassador, Commonwealth Entrepreneurs Club, UK
– Chairperson: Rt. Hon. Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba, Deputy Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly
– Chief Launcher: Chief Kingsley Idoko Ilona, CEO, Lona Holdings
– Royal Father: Agabaidu Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa, Ata Igala and President, Kogi State Council of Chiefs
The service will include sermons, song ministrations, thanksgiving, and prayers, offering spiritual blessings to attendees.
Reverend Dr. John Ugah has dedicated his life to serving God and the United Evangelical Church, holding various positions before becoming the Idah Area Conference Chairman six years ago.
