Staff and management of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development have been charged to be dedicated to their duties.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Jibo Haruna Muhammed, gave the charge during a meeting with the staff and management of the Ministry in Lokoja today.
Mr. Muhammed warned against lateness and truancy in the office, saying they are against civil service rules.
The Permanent Secretary advised the staff to be committed and dedicated to their duties at all times.
Mr. Muhammed stated that the present administration, under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, has done well for civil servants in the state, especially prompt payment of salaries.
He advised the staff to reciprocate the gesture by being loyal and honest in the course of their duty assignments.
The Permanent Secretary thanked the Commissioner of the Ministry, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe, for carrying the staff along in the scheme of things, describing his quality leadership as impressive.
Speaking on behalf of the staff and management , the Director of Administration, Mallam Ibraheems Yahaya, thanked the Commissioner , Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe, and the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Jibo Haruna Muhammed, for their commitment to the growth of the Ministry.
