The Executive Chairman of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government, Hon. (Barr.) Cosmas Ilemona Atabor, has hosted a delegation from the TIV community residing in the area to his office at the Secretariat complex, Ajaka.
During the meeting, Barr. Atabor emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence, encouraging the TIV community to continue promoting unity, particularly in their relations with other ethnic groups.
He praised the TIV people for consistently choosing the path of peace and assured them of his administration’s continued efforts to uphold the existing harmony in the Local Government.
Barrister Atabor reiterated that ensuring the security of all residents remains a key priority of Governor Ododo’s administration and his own priority.
Mr. Fidelis Uke, speaking on behalf of the TIV community, commended the Chairman for appointing Hon. Ukantyo Sunday as Senior Special Adviser on Digital Technology, describing it as a sign of the administration’s inclusive nature.
Hon. Ukantyo Sunday expressed gratitude to the Chairman for his support and pledged his commitment to the growth and development of Igalamela/Odolu LGA.
