The people of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area are poised to make history in the upcoming October elections, and Hon. Cosmas Atabor , the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate is the leader they need to drive progress.
The Chairman of the Campaign Council for the Local Government,Hon James Omachonu Onoja while interacting with Journalists today said its candidate Barrister Cosmas Atabor as a seasoned public servant has consistently demonstrated his commitment to the welfare and development of the community.
Hon Onoja explained that Barrister Atabor’s vision for Igalamela/Odolu is built on a foundation of transparency, accountability, and inclusivity.
According to him, the leadership style of the APC candidate is characterized by collaborative governance, empowering citizens to participate in decision-making processes.
Hon Onoja noted that with Barrister Atabor at the helm with the people’s mandate, the local government under his watch will give priority to education, healthcare, infrastructure development, and economic empowerment.
“The team of ten Councillors supporting Atabor shares his passion for transformative change. Each Councillor brings unique expertise and a deep understanding of the community’s needs. Together, they will work tirelessly to ensure that every constituent has access to quality services and opportunities”, he said.
Hon Onoja maintained that the electorate has a critical role to play in shaping the future of Igalamela/Odolu, pointing out that voting for Barrister Cosmas Atabor and the Councillors, residents could secure a brighter future for themselves, their families, and their community.
The Chairman of the Campaign Council called on the electorates to unite behind Barrister Cosmas Atabor and his team, advising them to choose leaders that will truly represent their interests.
“Together, we can build a prosperous, vibrant, and inclusive Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area. The power to shape our destiny lies in our hands; let us exercise it wisely”.
Hon Onoja added that as the October elections approached, the electorates should rise to the challenge, mobilize their neighbors, and elect leaders who will drive meaningful change in Igalamela/Odolu Local Government.
He used the occasion to congratulate Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo the Governor of Kogi State on the 64th Independence Day Celebration, saying his contributions to nation building was already be acknowledged both within and outside the State.
