Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Comrade Joel Salifu, has emphasized the importance of parents cultivating their children’s potential and aspirations for a prosperous future.

Speaking at the annual Choir Day Celebration at the United Evangelical Church headquarters in Ejule, Ofu Local Government Area, Comrade Salifu shared his personal journey, highlighting God’s faithfulness and the possibility of achieving great heights.

He described Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo as a “Child of Destiny” and viewed their rise to power as a divine arrangement by God and the people of Kogi State.

Comrade Salifu cautioned parents that failing to support their children’s success is a dereliction of parental duties.

Encouraging Christians to remain patient, the Deputy Governor assured them that delayed prayers will eventually be answered, and their aspirations fulfilled.

Comrade Salifu reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to promoting religious harmony, emphasizing the joy found in worshipping God.

Guest speaker, Evangelist Elijah Abalaka emphasized the need for strong belief in God’s directive to break forth in life.

He urged Christians to have faith in God, reassuring Governor Ododo and his Deputy that their leadership journey has just begun, with God’s presence guiding them in governing the state.
