The Member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency and Patron of Kogi East Chapter of Ododo Voice Network 2027, Rt Hon Sani Egidi Abdulraheem, has condoled with the family of the late Secretary of the group, Hon Jonalson Okpanachi Atanu (Mugabe).
In a condolence message at the burial, Rt Hon Sani Egidi Abdulraheem described the deceased as a steadfast, loyal, and dedicated member of the Kogi East Chapter of Ododo Network 2027, who will be greatly missed.
Represented at the funeral by Alhaji Ali Atabor, Chairman of the group, Rt Hon Sani Egidi Abdulraheem expressed shock and grief over the sudden passing of the young and vibrant politician from Omala Local Government Area.
Recounting his first encounter with the late Hon Mugabe, he described him as accommodating, honest, and a trusted ally.
The federal lawmaker urged members of the Kogi East Chapter of Ododo Voice Network 2027 to sustain the legacies of the deceased and paid special tribute to Hon Mugabe for his contributions to the emergence of the present administration in Kogi State.
He assured that the efforts of the group and others will not be in vain.
Rt Hon Sani Egidi Abdulraheem prayed that God grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest and give the family the fortitude to cope with the loss of a breadwinner.
The late Hon Mugabe’s dedication and commitment to the group and the people of Kogi State will be deeply missed. May his legacy live on through the people he touched and inspired.
The burial ceremony was attended by some members of the Kogi East Chapter of Ododo Voice Network 2027, prominent sons and daughters of Omala Local Government Area, and other dignitaries, who came to pay their last respects to the deceased.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of Ododo Voice Network 2027, Kogi East Chapter Alhaji Ali Atabor has expressed appreciation to Rt Hon Sani Egidi Abdulraheem for his financial support to the family of the deceased.
Alhaji Ali Atabor who delivered the cash donation of four hundred thousand Naira from Rt Hon Egidi Abdulraheem to the family, said members of the group remain grateful to the federal Lawmaker for the financial support.
